SPR1NG Controller

New interface design – hands move independently while dynamically linked through a flexible spring.

First controller to integrate 3D hand motion, haptic force feedback and biometrics.

3D Motion

Two-handed linked motion naturally replicates the way humans manipulate physical objects in 3D space. The realism and intricacy of that motion is intuitively transferred into virtual environments and to control robotics.

Force Feedback

Manipulation of the spring as the user moves the handles provides haptic force feedback which greatly enhances the physical experience of feeling, holding, rotating and moving objects.

Biometric Feedback

The controller senses heart rate, changes in emotional response and variations in grip force, placing it on the forefront of interfaces ready for the age of affective computing.
